Technology and it's impact on us, as a human race, has been the basis for my last few posts, both in how it is improving our lives (below), and how it might be killing us off too, but here is technology used for no other purpose than make an epic (and I use that word advisedly) music video.
OK Go is a pop group that I have been following since their first video way back when. Now they have not only used cutting edge technology in their video, in this case with Honda branded self stabilising unicycles, but they have used a drone to do the filming!
The artistry and imagination needed by so many people to not only make it work, but work so well, shows us all that not only is OK Go a band to follow, but restores my faith in the music industry!
Go - OK Go - Go!
Oh, and after 1 day of going online, they have over 4,452,000 views. That is pretty amazing in anyone's books.

Another Day Off
"Bueller? Bueller?" made Ben Stein an icon. Jennifer Grey also became more popular after the film was launched in 1986 but Matthew Broderick will always be intrinsically linked with 'Ferris Bueller's Day Off.
So I was surprised to see that he had possibly cheapened his role by making an ad for Honda based around the film.
And then I realised - its been 25 years since the film came out!
Scary stuff indeed.
And now I'm going off to make some hot chocolate, put on my slippers and sit down in front of the TV for a few days.

Formula 1 - Easy Driving
A friend of mine and I were chatting the other day over a pint of wine... and I found out that he used to be an F1 fan but stopped when he started working on Sundays.
I tried to update him about the goings on in the sport and tried to explain to him just how much more technologically challenging the driver's role is today.

Parking Frius
The truth of the matter is that I don't like Priuses - or is it Priuii? Either way I they rile me up.
I don't know if its their arrogant design or their drivers' smarmy look when they are overtaken, I just don't know.
I'm fine with Honda's Civic half battery and half petrol engine car. I'm even looking forward to owning a battery powered Land Rover Discovery one time in the (very, very) distant future. Looking at the Prius just makes me clench my fist in preparation for smashing someone in the nose
Unlike some bloggers I know, I do, however, frown on peeing on the door handles of ANY vehicle!
My wife doesn't like me to swear, especially when I'm driving, so I try not to. But those Priuses do test me.
So I came up with an idea.
Very simple.
I'll convince the wife that my swearing is actually something else, so here goes;
So now, whenever I pass a Prius, I say in an amicable, cheery voice, "look there's a farking Prius'.
And everyone smiles.

car movement? Well it was named after Proffessor Fark of Hinkyflinky, Sweden. The process that is named after him is called farking.
So now, whenever I pass a Prius, I say in an amicable, cheery voice, "look there's a farking Prius'.

Car Jack?
Two friends of mine independently told me about a carjacking in the area where I live. Its the first time I've heard of a carjacking anywhere in the city, and my connections in the Police force agree that it is very unusual.
It wasn't a Lamborghini or a Ferrari but a Honda Civic that was carjacked.
I drive a Honda Civic.
Both of my friends mentioned that now, whenever they get into their cars they lock all the doors. And I think I'll be doing the same.
So due to one incident, which seems to be exceptionally unusual, a whole group of the population are not only going to lock their doors whenever they get into their vehicles, but they'll also have that little adrenaline rush and thought about danger in the backs of their minds.
So why do we always have to fall to the lowest common denominator?
