Dee Snider has released a video showing him performing a stripped back, piano-led version of Twisted Sister classic "We're Not Gonna Take It".
Directed by musician and illusionist Criss Angel in a desert outside Las Vegas, the promo was produced to help raise awareness of Angel's new cancer charity, HELP (Heal Every Life Possible). It was founded in honor of his two-year-old son, who is in remission from leukaemia.
It was simple really, I'd been listening to the Popstuff podcast which always brings a broad grin to my face. The girls on the podcast are sassy, fun and in all honesty, enchanting. So when they suggested listening to another podcast I decided to give it a try.
The podcast they referred to sounded harmless enough, 'My brother, my brother and I'. An 'advicecast' whatever that may be. Probably 3 siblings talking about something or other with the bigger ones bullying the youngest one into joining, and no doubt, they'd be making him spill all of his embarrassing life stories.
Worth a listen at least?

2010 wasn’t an easy year for the LGBT community. Despite political victories like a federal judge’s overturning of California’s Proposition 8 (which made gay marriage illegal) and the recent repeal of “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell,” a series of suicides of gay teens cast a dark shadow over the movement and pointed out how long our society still has to go on the long road towards tolerance.
In an attempt to reach out to other young LGBT people, there was a huge outpouring of support from the comedy community, organized by Dan Savage. With a simple, powerful message -– “It gets better” -– comedians all over the country reminded young homosexuals that there is light at the end of the tunnel, and that if you ever feel under attack for your sexual orientation, hey, you can always take improv classes.
I was cub scout as a youngster. A member of the 36th Ilford if I am not mistaken. We used to learn first aid, build tents, raise money for charity and every now and then we'd go away for a few days.
I enjoyed it, had fun with my friends and I guess it added to my love of the military later on in life.

Christ, at 13 I was playing with rifles at my senior school. I could have easily poked someone in the eye with a Lee Enfield number 4 rifel (the rifle used by the majo
rity of British Forces soldiers in World War 2) - it could have really hurt someone.
At 16 I was hospitalized whilst playing grass hockey at school after I received a hockey-stick to the head. I still have the 3 inch scar to prove it! But a spoon - wow, I'd have been scared of that.
It appears that the school district has now ovcerturned their original decision - sorry - let that read 'amended their zero tolerance ruling' to allow more discretion on the part of teachers.
The Christina School Board voted unanimously to amend the Code of Conduct for the 2009-2010 school year to allow individual schools and school administrators more discretion when deciding disciplinary actions for students in Kindergarten and First Grade.
Surely thats why we have teachers in the first place? To use their common sense in how to teach our children the ways of the world?
Also, the above changes to the 'Code of Conduct' does not allow 7 year olds to bring spoons to school. I guess they have to draw the backwards looking, petty ruling somewhere.
